📅 Program Structure: The 2-2-2 Model

Phase 1 – Foundation (2 Weeks at Sentinel K9)

Your dog begins with an immersive, structured training environment designed to build clarity and control.

• On-site obedience training

• Clear communication, leash pressure, and structure

• Crate training and routine reinforcement

• Owner comes to Sentinel K9 for a hands-on lesson to learn proper handling, timing, and structure

Goal: Build a rock-solid obedience foundation with clear expectations.

Phase 2 – Owner Integration & Real-World Practice (2 Weeks)

Training shifts to handler involvement so obedience carries over seamlessly.

• 2 Private Lessons at the owners home

• Guided homework assignments to practice at home

• Trainer support via text/email, including video feedback

Goal: Teach you how to maintain obedience in your dog’s real-world environment.

Phase 3 – Mastery & Graduation (2 Weeks Back at Sentinel K9)

Your dog returns for refinement, distraction proofing, and final polish.

• Distraction-proofing and public exposure

• Command fluency and handler transfer

• Long-line or off-leash work (breed-appropriate)

• Owner returns to Sentinel K9 for graduation session and go-home lesson

Goal: Confident obedience you can trust without micromanaging your dog.
