Sentinel K9 (“SK9”) is the data controller for personal data collected via our website and services.

Personal information we collect
Device & usage data. When you visit the site, we automatically collect information such as your browser type, IP address, time zone, cookie identifiers, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, and interactions with the site (“Device Information”).
Information you provide. When you fill forms or create an account, we may collect your name, email, phone number, address, pet details, payment information, and any other information you provide so we can deliver services and support.
Why we process your data
We process data to:
operate, secure, and improve the website and services;
provide and manage bookings, payments, memberships, and customer support;
communicate about your account or services you request (see Mobile Information (SMS/MMS) for SMS specifics);
comply with legal obligations and prevent abuse or fraud.
We strive to collect only the data necessary for these purposes and to de-identify or aggregate where feasible.
Your choices

Mobile Information (SMS/MMS)
Transactional-only SMS. SK9 uses BusyPaws to send transactional text messages only (e.g., booking confirmations/updates, check-in/out reminders, schedule or policy notices). We do not send marketing or promotional SMS.
What we collect. If you provide a mobile number and consent to receive transactional texts, we process your phone number, message content you send to us, message metadata (timestamps, delivery status), opt-in/opt-out status, and customer profile information tied to your account.
How we use Mobile Information. To deliver transactional texts you request or that are necessary to service your account; provide support; prevent fraud/abuse; and comply with law. We do not use SMS for marketing.
Sharing and selling. We don’t sell Mobile Information. We may share it with service providers (e.g., our SMS platform/CRM) solely to send messages on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, and as required by law or to protect rights/safety.
Opt-out (STOP). You may opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP. Per A2P requirements, when you text STOP, all SMS messages will cease, including transactional messages. For critical updates after an SMS opt-out, we will use other channels (e.g., email or phone call). You may also email admin@sentinel-k9.com to request removal.
Help. Reply HELP for assistance or email admin@sentinel-k9.com. Message & data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your activity (bookings, reminders).
Storage and retention. We retain Mobile Information as needed to provide messaging and maintain compliance records (e.g., consent logs), then delete or de-identify it per our retention schedule and legal requirements.
Security & breach notice. We use reasonable safeguards. If a security incident materially affects Mobile Information, we’ll notify affected users as required by law.
Changes. If we materially change how we collect, use, or share Mobile Information, we’ll update this section and indicate the new effective date, and may provide additional notice.
Mobile Messaging Terms & Conditions (A2P 10DLC)
Program description. By providing your mobile number and consenting to SMS, you agree to receive transactional text messages related to your account and services (e.g., booking confirmations/updates, reminders, policy notices). SK9 does not send SMS marketing or promotional messages. Marketing communications, if any, will be sent via other channels (e.g., email) in accordance with your preferences.
Opt-in. You may opt in by submitting your mobile number through our website/portal forms and (where shown) confirming consent. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Opt-out (STOP). Text STOP to cancel. After you send STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message, and all SMS messages—including transactional—will cease to that number. You can also email admin@sentinel-k9.com to opt out. For essential or time-sensitive notices after SMS opt-out, we will contact you via alternative channels (e.g., email or phone).
Help. Text HELP for assistance or email admin@sentinel-k9.com.
Message frequency. Varies by your activity (e.g., bookings, reminders). No promotional SMS will be sent.
Fees. Message & data rates may apply.
Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Eligibility. U.S. residents; 18+ (or with parental consent). No messages are directed to children under 13.
Privacy. Mobile Information is handled under our Privacy Policy. We do not share Mobile Information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
